Offering K9 Nosework™ Classes

Welcome to Ascent Dog Training.

Ascent Dog Training offers K9 Nosework™ classes employing the methods and practices of the NACSW™. Dogs work one at a time while the other dogs  wait for their turn at the fun in their own car. This allows dogs who don’t enjoy the company of other dogs to participate in this fun and enriching activity. K9 Nosework™ is an appropriate activity for almost all dogs. Age, previous training and even some handicaps won’t stand in the way of offering your dog a chance to have fun, gain confidence, learn focus and get healthy exercise. Small class size ensures your dog will get plenty of time trying her paw at solving the fun scent puzzles. You can read more about K9 Nosework™ here:

Competition goals are not required but for those who would like to compete, our classes will prepare you to be successful in all the organizations that now offer Nosework titles and–more importantly–have fun with your dog in the company of the Nosework community. Please click on the Classes tab to see what we offer.
